近年来热衷倡导“诗音画”艺术，是诗音画艺术的倡导者、实践者；有专属的“当代非物质文化遗产”名家工作室。曾荣获“中国诗音画倡导者”“德艺双馨艺术家”“创新油画艺术家”“书画艺术排头兵”“人民书画家”“共和国功勋艺术家”“走向世界的人民艺术家”“中华文化和谐使者”“海峡两岸文化交流大使”“东盟文化艺术交流大使”等称号。有大量诗音画作品及创新画论，刊登在《美术报》《中国艺术报》《新华网》《央视网》美国《时代周刊》俄罗斯《真理报》等多家媒体。多幅作品在国内及国际书画大赛获金、银奖，及“毕加索国际绘画大赛金杯”、“法兰西艺术与文学骑士勋章”等，并美誉为“中国艺术品软黄金”。
Born in Shanghai in 1945, he currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Asian Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, National First-Class Artist, Member of the China Artists Association, Researcher at the China Oriental Culture Research Institute, Vice President of the China Hanmo Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Visiting Professor at the China Huaxia Masters Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Academician of the China Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Honorary Fellow of Harvard Art School in the United States, National Guest Gift Artist, National Gift Artist, and Lifetime Advisor to the China International Artists Association. In recent years, he has actively advocated for "Poetry, Sound, and Painting" art, becoming its pioneer and practitioner. He operates a dedicated studio recognized as a "Contemporary Intangible Cultural Heritage" master. His accolades include "China’s Poetry, Sound, and Painting Advocate", "Artist of Moral Integrity and Artistic Excellence", "Innovative Oil Painter", "Pioneer in Calligraphy and Painting", "People’s Artist", "Meritorious Artist of the Republic", "Global People’s Artist", "Cultural Ambassador for Cross-Strait Exchange", and "ASEAN Cultural Exchange Ambassador". His poetic, musical, and artistic works, along with innovative theories, have been featured in media outlets such as Fine Arts News, China Art News, Xinhua Net, CCTV.com, Time Magazine in the US, and Pravda in Russia. His numerous works have won gold and silver awards in domestic and international competitions, including the "Picasso International Painting Competition Gold Cup" and the "Knight’s Cross of Arts and Letters in France", earning him the title of "China’s Soft Gold Art".
